Quick-Reference Instructions

  1. Click one of the links above.
  2. In the Welcome window:
    1. Type your RAND loginname.
    2. Type your PIN and 6-digit SecurID code (no spaces).
    3. Click Sign In.
  3. If prompted, click Public System... or Home...only.
  4. On the main Bookmarks page, click the bookmark (link) for the desired resource.
  5. If prompted again for your username and password:
    1. Do the following only on a home computer, not on a public computer.
    2. Type rand\loginname
    3. Type your network password and check "Remember my password."
    4. Click Continue.
  6. To log out:
    1. Click Sign Out (upper right) or the door icon.
    2. Close browser.

Working from an Institutional Partner's Computer

If you are denied access to AnywhereConnect when using a UCLA or other partner institution computer, the configuration settings may need to be changed, if the partner institution's security policies permit.  Please ask the institution's IT staff to make the following changes to the Windows computer you are using for AnywhereConnect:

Call extension 6000 for assistance if the partner institution is unwilling to comply with these requests.
